Musical Bridge Length

If you are fooling around with the idea of using a musical passage for the Bridge in your song, you will need to be aware of the fact that you only four to eight bars in your song that you can use for the bridge. In fact, in the UK, the Bridge of a song is referred to as "The Middle Eight" Ð even when the Bridge is four bars long. It doesn't seem like much, but you can pack a whole lot of music into four to eight bars.
