loves movies where the plot twist at the end makes it all work. That's great for
movies, but not so great for songs. Remember that you have to hook your audience
quickly. By the time you get to your surprise twist, your audience may be gone.
Remember also that while a moviegoer often only sees a given movie one time, a
listener to a song may hear it hundreds of times -- making the surprise element
wear out quickly.
